Well Then… (It’s Here I Guess?)

In his latest album Joseph Bagwell brings together contemporary alt/indie rock and classic prog/art rock influences into a short but sweet album about time, death and adventure.

It was a little over 8 years ago that Joseph heard Pink Floyd for the first time and from that moment his life changed as he decided he wanted to be like them. Fast forward to today with his 2nd rock album “Well Then…” which he has released through his private net label Marionette’s Manifesto.

The album is available as a digital copy or as a limited edition cassette through bandcamp or available to stream for free from the Marionette’s Manifesto YouTube channel.

In “Well Then…” Joseph explores influences from more mainstream prog rock bands such as The Alan Parsons Project, Pink Floyd and Genesis in songs like “Take It Or Leave It” and “Doppelgänger” while bringing in influence from other genres such as Spanish guitar music in “The Other Half Of The Eclipse” and ambient/electronica in “Midnight (Sea Of Trees)”.

4 singles have been released from the album to spotify as double releases. “Doppelgänger” & “Quarter Life Crisis” in 2020 and “If I Could Fly” and “Take It Or Leave It” on 27th May 2021. All singles being different from their album versions in one way or another.

It doesn’t stop there though, Joseph is now in the process of writing and recording a third album that will start to introduce influences from symphonic rock, funk/dance rock and contemporary prog and He is looking at having it done by 2023.
